Sunny Deol, who made a strong comeback with Gadar 2 is now busy promoting his next film Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
At a recent event he stated that Bollywood producers should take inspiration from South Indian filmmakers. Sunny emphasized that South filmmakers work with passion and complete trust in their directors.
He urged people to refer to it as Hindi cinema instead of Bollywood and pointed out that once a script is finalized in the South, producers go all in to bring the vision to life.
He also praised Jaat’s producers for their dedication, saying Bollywood lacks such commitment today. Some believe Sunny’s frustration stems from the delay of Lahore 1947 and outdated Bollywood practices.
Meanwhile, Jaat, featuring Jagapathi Babu, Randeep Hooda, and Regina Cassandra, is set to hit theaters next month.
